Language
The official language of the Symposium is English and simultaneous translation will be provided.

Climate
Greece has a warm Mediterranean climate. A strong feature of the Greek climate is its ample sunshine, estimated to be 3.000 hours per year. Winters are mild and the rain season is between November and March. Average temperature for Thessaloniki in September
is 25 °C.

Official letters of invitation
Official letters of invitation designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries will be sent on request. It must be clear that such letters do not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee of the Symposium to provide any financial assistance. If you require such a letter apply to the Secretariat: "THESIS".

Special needs
Delegates and accompanying persons with disabilities are kindly requested to contact the secretariat of the Symposium, for any special requirements. The Symposium's area is easily accessed by persons with special needs.

Exhibition
The sponsor companies will form the focal point of the Symposium with an exhibition of pharmaceutical, medical and research products. The commercial exhibition will be located at the Makedonia Palace Hotel where space is limited and those interested should reserve a space as soon as possible. For further information, please contact the Secretariat of the Symposium.

Visas
Some participants may require Visas in order to enter Greece. Please check with your local Greek Consulate or Embassy. The Greek Government's website is: www.government.gr

Name badges
Delegates and accompanying persons are obliged to wear the official Symposium name badges at all occasions

Credit cards
All major credit cards are honored in hotel, restaurants and shops.

Certificates of Attendance
Certificates of Attendance will be issued to all registered delegates by the Secretariat of the Symposium.

Technical equipment
The Symposium Hall will be equipped with slide, overhead and data video projectors as well as PCs for speakers' needs.
Speakers are kindly requested to use English language, check and deliver their presentation to the Technical Secretariat of the Symposium, at least one hour before their scheduled presentation
