Welcome Address

Dear colleagues Following the completion of the 6th Advanced Symposium on Congenital Heart Disease in the Adult, held in Thessaloniki, Greece, September 26-27, 2008, we would like to thank you all for your participation at the Conference. Every year the A.S.C.H.D.A. Conferences are the cross-point of several different opinions, new trends and survey results on congenital heart disease, heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. This year, a step further was made: we focused in pregnancy and heart disease as well as the new techniques in state-of-the-art imaging.  Your contribution ensured a high level and real up-to-date course on congenital heart disease and therapies. It was a great pleasure to share with you the success of this Symposium.
